Wednesday's event will raise money for Caterina's Club, feature special menu, appearance by former 'Idol' contestant.

The Anaheim White House has caught “Idol” fever and is turning the craze into a good cause with its "American Idol" finale fundraiser May 20.

The evening will raise money for Caterina’s Club, a nonprofit founded by owner Bruno Serato that distributes daily meals to 50,000 underserved children forced to live in motel rooms, due to their parents' financial situations.

Among the evening's offerings: Guests will have the opportunity to order directly from a special menu or choose from one of two featured selections named after each finalist. It's a way of casting their votes for the performer they want to win. The event will also feature an appearance from Anaheim resident Lisa Tucker (right, with Serato), who appeared in season five of Fox's hit show.

“‘American Idol’ has proven to be a national phenomenon, and we thought we might serve as a gathering place for those who enjoy the show,” says Serato. “We’re grateful that Lisa Tucker has so graciously agreed to be a part of this special evening, which will certainly help us in our fundraising efforts.”

It all kicks off at 7 p.m. and runs until 11 p.m. The "American Idol" viewing takes place from 8 to 10 p.m. Reservations are recommended. The Anaheim White House is located at 887 S. Anaheim Blvd.
