PROVOCATIVE CALENDAR TO RAISE MONEY FOR “MOTEL KIDS”

(Anaheim White House Owner’s 2009 “Temptation Calendar” To Raise Funds For Needy)

His provocative cookbook was a best seller and now famed restaurateur Bruno Serato, owner of the highly popular Anaheim White House, is launching the 2009 “Temptation Calendar” with a portion of the proceeds benefiting a food distribution program he founded for underprivileged youth. The wall calendar features recipes and conventional food shots paired with photos of leading male models interacting with food. Among the models are members of the U.S. Volleyball team and Stanley Cup winner Joe DiPenta of the Anaheim Ducks. Sales from the $14.95 calendar will help fund Caterina’s Club, a nonprofit named after Serato’s mother that each year feeds 30,000 “motel kids” (so named as they are forced to live in shabby motels and their working parents are unable to adequately feed them).
“The cookbook was so well received that I was offered the opportunity of creating a similar themed calendar,” said Serato. “As long as it generates some funding for Caterina’s Club, then I’m all for it.”
The calendars are being printed by one of the world’s leading publishers and distributors, Village Lighthouse in Los Angeles. Only those sold through Serato’s website or at the restaurant will benefit Caterina’s Club. For more information, call (714) 772-1381 or visit www.anaheimwhitehouse.com.
