ANAHEIM WHITE HOUSE EARNS FIVE STAR DIAMOND AWARD

(American Academy Of Hospitality Sciences Bestows Top Honor On Landmark Restaurant)

While Michael Phelps is breaking Olympic Gold records, local restaurateur Bruno Serato, owner of the landmark Anaheim White House, is racking up his own honors. In addition to his recent Walk of Stars induction and Capital Hill recognition, he has been presented with one of the most prestigious accolades in the restaurant industry -- the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences’ Five Star Diamond Award. The nationally acclaimed restaurant, which has counted scores of celebrities and world leaders among its regular clientele since its inception in 1987, was recognized with the coveted award for its extraordinary cuisine, hospitality, quality, presentation and service.
Established in 1989, the AAHS anonymously conducts rigorous evaluations of various entities in the hospitality industry such as restaurants, spas, hotels and cruise lines around the globe in order to recognize those offering the highest levels of commitment to luxury and service.
“We are honored to be recognized by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences with this prestigious award as it pays homage to the hard work and dedication of the entire Anaheim White House family,” remarked Serato. “We always strive to exceed the expectations of our guests and give them the culinary experience of a lifetime, so receiving this coveted honor is a validation of our efforts.”
“The Anaheim White House is one of Orange County’s ‘crown jewels’ and Mr. Serato and his entire staff are to be commended for their steadfast devotion to enhancing the fine dining landscape in Southern California,” added (NAME). “We are delighted to recognize the Anaheim White House with this award and applaud them for their extraordinary efforts.”

AAHS is based in New York City and governed by an international board of trustees. All members of the board (Donald Trump is counted among them) are respected leaders in the industry and are themselves, world travelers. Valuable sources around the globe routinely submit nominations of five star establishments for review. The board then refines the selection to those who qualify for the ultimate evaluation.
Situated in a historic mansion dating to 1909, the restaurant offers a quixotic menu of northern Italian/French fare, extensive wine list, unparalleled service and an elegant setting to create a dining experience that is timeless, remarkable and without equal. As a result, the restaurant has received such coveted distinctions as the “International Five Star Diamond Award” from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences and top rankings in the Zagat Dining Guide. In addition, the restaurant is home to scores of philanthropic endeavors including Caterina’s Club, for which Serato was recognized on Capitol Hill for feeding more than 30,000 underprivileged Orange County youngsters each year.
With its close proximity to Disneyland, the elegant dining establishment has become a favorite destination for tourists, locals and dignitaries visiting the park. Among the luminaries from the worlds of entertainment, sports and politics are Madonna, Sidney Portier, Andrea Bocelli, Gwen Stefani, Wolfgang Puck, Derek Jeter, Oscar de la Hoya, President Jimmy Carter, President George W. Bush and the Crown Prince of Belgium. In addition, Serato is lauded for his extensive philanthropy and has been honored as a “Cornerstone Humanitarian of the Year” on Capitol Hill for his Caterina’s Club that feeds more than 30,000 underprivileged youngsters each year.
