ANAHEIM WHITE HOUSE HOSTS ELECTION NIGHT “RACE TO THE WHITE HOUSE”

(4-Course Obama vs. McCain Menus & Televised Coverage To Highlight Nov. 4 Festivities)

Election Night promises to be filled with suspense and excitement particularly at one Southland restaurant. The Anaheim White House is hosting “Race To The White House,” featuring live coverage of the election proceedings on specially placed TV screens and four-course Obama vs. McCain menus that allow guests to support their favorite candidate, announced Bruno Serato, proprietor of the critically acclaimed restaurant. The fun begins at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4.
The prix fixe menus, four courses for $44, feature such items as John McCalamari and Sarah Palin pasta e fagioli soup on the Republican menu and the more “left leaning” Barack O-Chicken and Joe Biden veal. According to Serato, the evening is intended to be a good-natured event with guests from either end of the political spectrum coming together to celebrate our freedom to vote and the spirit of the electoral process.
“I’m so grateful to be an American with the right to cast my vote for President,” said Serato. “Where better to hold an Election Night celebration than at the White House!”
Situated in a historic national landmark mansion dating to 1909, the restaurant offers a quixotic menu of northern Italian/French fare, extensive wine list, unparalleled service and an elegant setting to create a dining experience that is timeless, remarkable and without equal. As a result, the restaurant has received such coveted distinctions as the “International Five Star Diamond Award” from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences and top rankings in the Zagat Dining Guide. In addition, the restaurant is home to scores of philanthropic endeavors including Caterina’s Club, for which Serato was recognized on Capitol Hill for feeding more than 50,000 underprivileged Orange County youngsters each year.
With its close proximity to Disneyland, the elegant dining establishment has become a favorite destination for tourists, locals and dignitaries visiting the park. Among the luminaries from the worlds of entertainment, sports and politics are Madonna, Sidney Portier, Andrea Bocelli, Gwen Stefani, Wolfgang Puck, Derek Jeter, Oscar de la Hoya, President Jimmy Carter, President George W. Bush and the Crown Prince of Belgium. In addition, Serato is lauded for his extensive philanthropy and has been honored as a “Cornerstone Humanitarian of the Year” on Capitol Hill for his Caterina’s Club that feeds more than 50,000 underprivileged youngsters each year.
