In celebration of its 20th anniversary in 2007, the Anaheim White House is hosting a culinary journey where each month a select region in Italy will be highlighted and a prix fixe dinner reflecting the foods of that area will be featured. Guests enjoying the meal will receive a stamp in their passport and those completing it at year’s end will receive one of several luxury gifts with the grand prize being a trip for two to Italy.
“In celebration of our 20th anniversary, Executive Chef Eddie Meza and I have developed 12 separate prix fixe menus featuring the foods of various regions of Italy,� said Serato. “We invite our guests on this culinary journey so that they can learn the nuances of each region’s foods and wines while playing along on our passport program.
“We want our celebration to last all year long,� he continued. “While each of the highlighted meals will offer guests a wonderful culinary experience at a great price ($65 per person, $85 with wines), everyone who completes the journey by completing their passports will win one of several glamorous prizes. We are working with top retailers like Tiffany and Hermes as well as travel destination companies to secure our prizes. The top prize – the trip to Italy – will be an exclusive, behind the scenes look at a luxurious side of this magnificent country that very few people ever see.�
